He said the incident in Doklam in 2017, and the faceoff now in Ladakh are all part of this plan, and it is what Tibetan leaders have been warning to India for the last 60 years. they say that Nepal is also a part of this border pressure.

China’s declaration of sovereignty over Galwan Valley are the first since the war of 1962, making the relatively peaceful area of the LAC into a major turning point.

The area is strategically important as it overlooks India’s Darbuk-Shyok-Daulat Beg Oldi
road, which connects Leh to Karakoram Pass.

The statement was made after India’s ministry of external affairs had China is making “exaggerated and untenable claims.” on Thursday at 1pm.

On June 16, India had a statement and a the phone conversation between foreign minister S Jaishankar and his Chinese counterpart Chinese Wang Yi on June 17 and mentioned that the Chinese side had sought to straighten a structure in the Galwan Valley chinese side of the LAC.

The statements said had became a source of disagreement, leading to the violent face-off on the night of June 15. Twenty Indian soldiers had died in the clash.

What did China say after the clash?

Sangay said that India needs to remain very attentive of the Chinese leadership.

He expressed his concern over the violence on the border and said that the intrusions in border areas are coming from the Chinese side.

When asked why the Dalai Lama was silent on the issue, he said that his Holiness the Dalai Lama had been speaking for India for 60 years. Since 2011, he had devolved his political authority to the elected position which is his office.

Is China behind Ladakh to help Pakistan?

The annexation of Ladakh can be a threat to India and Kashmir. Throwing light on the ongoing disputes with Pakistan over Kashmir, Ladakh is just a neighbour which can be of huge help to combat military and spies. This annexation can lead to the loss of Punjab, Haryana and the other neighbouring
states on the map.
